Yes my Mum accidentally bought a cage for her hamster with bar spacing too big for anything but an adult piggy or small bunny... it was a bit smaller than 40x70cm

I was in The Range last weekend and they were selling a "ferret cage" that was the same size as my 100 cms hospital cage but with a taller lid! I pity the poor ferret who has to live it's life in that!

Upsets me pet shops sell these KNOWING they’re nowhere near big enough

So sad - I think many people fall into this trap, and think they are doing the right thing.
My heart breaks for the poor animal that spends it's life in something like this.
