I know the answer, but if you guys could just put it out of my head - don’t worry about being blunt…!

Ahem….

It would be completely out of the question to add a neutered boar to my girls, without expanding the floor space from 2x4 , even with a second level, wouldn’t it?

Thanks xx

@Ruth1 you sound like me :)
My husband and I started with just two adorable piggies, and although the exact moment escapes me, we eventually made the decision to enhance our setup and introduce a third piggy into our family. Looking back, we both firmly believe it was a remarkable choice. Some of our most joyful memories revolve around our trio of furry companions, who have brought immense happiness into our lives.

Regrettably, the journey hasn't been without its share of heartache. There were times when one of our precious piggies crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, leaving us with a temporarily smaller nest. However, we've always found our way back to having three piggies, as our connection with them is undeniably strong. The desire for more piggie companions is an ever-present feeling, especially considering the numerous rescue centers overflowing with these little angels.

I must admit that I've been playfully persistent with my husband about this matter. After we lost Rudi and Chicco, I couldn't help but ponder the dynamics of piggy affection. It seemed like the boys favored me, while the girls leaned towards my husband. With three girls all bonding with him, I secretly yearned for a mama's boy in our midst. However, practical limitations prevent us from expanding our piggie family further at the moment.

So, for now, I must concede that my wishes for another addition remain unfulfilled. Nevertheless, life is unpredictable, and circumstances can evolve. Who's to say what the future holds? Perhaps someday, under different conditions, we might just find ourselves welcoming that cherished little boy piggy we've envisioned. Let's keep dreaming Ruth :)

Aww lovely story! Yeah - never say never eh? Thanks for sharing the story xx

Just wait until we suggest she moves house 😁🤭
I moved house to accommodate my piggies! They moved from the a hutch in the back garden at my old house to the luxury of The Penthouse Suite and the Granny Annexe of Betsy Towers in The Garage. Now my knees and back won't allow me to get down low enough to clean The Granny Annexe, Thea is currently in the Penthouse and Misty and Bramble are in The Cage, The Table. Nr Betsy Towers, The Garage.

Sorry to be so reasonable. But you have got two lovely girls who get along fine. Their cage fits into your house.
Why not leave it like it is?
You speak wisely! I’ve looked long and hard at it and I agree! The little, loan boar has gone now anyway and there are only pairs left in my local rescue. Yeah - leave well enough alone I think 😁💕
