Ha Ha! That's guinea pigs for you. Mine do that with their segrass tunnels. They love running through their tunnels - but trash them too !

Haha, possibly not, it isn't a particularly cheap hidey. It did last a while though. I'll probably get him something else to chew, something a little more durable. He still has a fiddlestix bridge to hide in, though he doesn't really chew that.

It lasted about 7 or 8 months, slowly being chewed until it became the mess I showed in the picture.
