Thistle the donkey

I just wanted to put a small tribute here for Thistle. She crossed the bridge this morning, helped by a caring vet and accopmpanied at the end by family and friends.

Thistle belonged to friends of mine. She was the sweetest donkey. She was the focal point of many Earl of Rone processions in our village and was loved by everyone.

Donkeys are such very sweet and lovely creatures and so easy to attach yourself to. I'm really sorry to hear Thistle has passed, may she rest in peace and her memory last forever.
