Thorns not doing so well... :(

yes i have some... he really likes the taste... lol... weired piggie... but she also noticed that his eye has shrivled...?!?!?!
his right eye is half the size of the left... and is sunken in his head slightly... she said the chances are he'll have to have it removed when hes bigger and stronger... :(
hes completely blind on the right side... :(
but I'm sure it wont hold him back... hes still running round like a nut job...

Oh dear this little guy sure is facing so many hurdles in such a short time :(

Debbie's piggie had an eye removed and was fine :)

I hold my breath every time you post about Thorn - it's been such a rollercoaster with him! Soooo pleased to hear he's doing better.

i know.... the poor thing... its heart breaking to think i could of had him put down... when i took him when he wasnt breathing well she had offered to put him to sleep... but i thought he could fight it....

hes doing well.... eating well.... toileting well.... still got a small rattle in his chest but nothing bad....

so looks like he will have his eye removed... and hes more than likely be a small piggie.... but hes still here and i hope hes going to be here for quite a while...!

I fancied one of my boars had a slight wheeze a while back and dipped some cotton wool buds into Vicks vapour rub then placed them above his pen. He was fine so swear it helped.

I'm sorry Thorn's going to loose his eye, but maybe it might hold him back, so it will be for the best.
He'll be a pint sized gorgeous boy x)x)x)x)

thorns doing really well.... :)
the rattle seems to have died down slightly... so all is going well.... but i must say the sleep deprivation is getting to me now... :)
I'm KNACKERED....!
lol
hes eating pellets, lodes of hay, fresh food, and hes toileting well... very active... running round like a mentalist... :)

just thought id give you all a quick update before i crash out in bed... :)

Glad he's doing well, after you've caught up on some sleep, camera and out new piccies of the handsome little lad, none of you though as you must be looking pretty wrecked lol. Well done for all your hard work :))

ive weighed him today and hes a massive 95 grams...!
and ive got some pig-tures for you aswell.... :)
i let him run around my garden...(with me very close by) just to see what he thought... :)
