I'm always intrigued with how people house lots of piggies, I've nearly run out of room with 3! Wiebke, I would love to see your tribe's housing, please post photos :)

I know there's probably been numerous threads on this already but I love to see where everyone's piggies live, please post photos of your set up, can be indoors or outside. :)

There's 24 square feet there housing 7 girls (soon to be +1 male).

I'm getting a 8x6 shed for my birthday, so all my girls will be in that eventually (with space to add the two long haired girls I so desperately want to find). There's loads of space for them at the moment, especially now there's quite a big upper level put in (my babies like it up there, they get to see more!). :)

Looks fab, I like how you've connected the 2 hutches. Come on everyone, show your set ups! :)

This is the cages we have in the shed. My girl bunnies are on the floor, piggies on the shelves :)

The back cage is 6'X2.75' and has 4 girls, and the side cage is 5.25'X2.5' and has two boys. :) The cages are open topped and the wire is 1' high. But where the boys and girls cages join up, I've made the wire a foot higher because we had some piggies jumping over rolleyes

We used foot high trellis to make the walls of the cages, and just some chicken wire with small holes stapled on. So it was very easy. :)

my guineas would adore 4piggiepigs cage. I keep mine indoors aswell and the just have a basic rectangle cage. They have a wee house in it which they love. I bought a new fleece cosy type thing and they haven't went near it or the wee tube thing they just butt that out the road to get to their food lol. they just laze about in the plastic house all day. I can't put pics on (i'm *cough* working lol) xx

Welcome to Piggy Towers

I currently have 5 pigs. Two together on the middle level (Bob and Spike) and the three single boys with one house each. Eventually there will be 8 (my maximum honest!) when each of the single boys has got a girlfriend.

Loving the c & c homes daft question but how did you know how many of the panels you would need? Or did it start out small and get bigger lol
Id love to do something like this when i move but not sure where to start! @)

Guinea pig slave that has to be the most impressive guinea pig home ive ever seen!

When I have large groups come in they get to stay togather (well the girls do) on this table top enclosure.

This is breakfast time on the first morning at the rescue for the Farm Rescue girls - 11 females + one tiny male. Ohhh and Blanche - who was very glad of some company!

I LOVE C&C cages! I have the makings of one, but have yet to convince my parents (who own the house, and therefore make the rules) that they are a good idea. In the interim, my piggies have their own room, and LOTS of time out and about.

This was taken when I still had four girls - the setup has changed since Sweepie died 8... - Bumble, who had the top cage, has moved in with Sooty. Rose is currently the sole occupant of the top cage, but her gentleman callers are coming on Wednesday, and then she will have a new hubby.

Ours started off with a few grids as an extension for the floor pens rolleyes We then planned to build something onto the wall for space saving - it just developed from there. The best thing about the set up was we realised with two levels we could extend upwards and add another level so we could adopt more piggies :(|)

I love looking at everyones set ups but they always make me want a) a new hutch and b) a new house so my pigs can live indoors rolleyes

I have 9 pigs, they live separately on each floor; 3 trios each with 2 sows and 1 neutered boar. The bottom level could be used to house more, but at the mo it is just storage.

Here is our set up for six girls, they've got a sleeping bag each, the others are drying. They love the dog bed on the top level, they even share it sometimes. The upper right hand side has a black lid, it can be seen open on the pic.
