So I had 6 rescues before and had to rehome them. Been a little while without any pigs and ended up getting 3 new girls. Working on a new hutch for them.

Haven't named them yet. One needs some possible mite treatment, but others are looking good.
Name ideas?

Hi and welcome! they look gorgeous!

Please be aware that you will need to treat all piggies living in a group for mites to prevent the others from coming down with them as well. You need to use a decent ivermectin product (most shop ones are too low dosed) and need to repeat the treatment at least twice at the recommended interval in order to catch any emerging eggs at the optimal point.

Please see a competent vet for a health check to make sure that you are not having any more unpleasant surprises!

Darn, can't edit...There was supposed to be a smilie on the end of that...
I rescue GPs on and off. Last batch of 6, one of them had mites, treated them all with some paste and they were dandy.

I found my old, large purple hut and gave it to them. They argued over who got to hog it most of the time. But they all share it at night.

As for names, I think I'm going to be highly unimaginative with this group...lol.
How does- Himie, trixie and agoutie sound? =p

Awww bless them, I am sure you will get them back to health very soon
