Hi all,

With storms being forecast for the next couple days I'm beginning to worry about my piggies... Will they be okay with thunder?

They currently live in a shed with a hutch built in so they'll be safe from winds and rain.

How do others piggies deal with storms?

My piggies used to be outside and they coped OK with rain and thunderstorms. They are now in a garage so are out of the rain but will still have the noise but they should be fine. It all depends if your piggies are nervous or not.

My boys live in the garage. I’ve not really thought about thunder. You’ve got me thinking now. I hope yours and mine will be ok. 😬

It doesn’t bother mine (storms definitely bother me though). They live in my shed but have been in the house for the last couple of days (in their shed at night) due to the heat but are staying in the house tonight as their shed has only cooled to 28 degrees

Thats reassuring :) Mine freeze for a little bit at loud noises but after that are completely unfazed.

Sorrryy... :( I'm sure ours will be, just wanted to see how others faired

Thank you :) Mine have a roof box on their shed and I've planted some wildflowers in there, it does wonders keeping the shed cool

My five are in the garage and we apparently had a bad storm while I was asleep- I even left the window open, oops! They were fine in the morning.
