Sunday being our major cage cleaning day, we strip-out all the piggies cages, wash, disinfect replace all puppy pads, towels and fleece. 2 minutes after placing Tia, into her clean cage she decided that the hay was better on the fleece rather than in the hay rack.

As everyone will know hay has magical properties it does matter how many times you sweep it up, there's always some more that you have missed..

That's what my floor looks like most of the time! It doesn't worry me at all as I know it's clean hay but it winds my OH up no end

i have finacard, hay and the odd poop all over my house. Dont know how, they are in the spare room and rats and hamsters in the living room . Dogs not allowed upstairs yet everything ends up everywhere

I think piggies, like kids, like to stamp their mark on their living space by making as much mess as quickly as possible. I cleaned all mine out while they were on the grass this afternoon and their cages look like they have been ransacked already!

Bless her  What a little monkey, they like mess don't they!

Eddie has a proper hay rack (as seen behind him in my pic on the left here) because he likes to sit in his hay but I dont like him eating wee hay! However he learned pretty quick that the second my back is turned he tips the thing over and next thing I see is him lying down in the spilled hay munching it! They are so cheeky!

one of my piggies is terrible for pulling the hay rack off the side of the cage, I've actually had to get the pliers out to attach the rack so that it wont come off now lol, although she still manages to get one side of it off
