Your probably hear it a lot more, mine squeak like mad at food times

if it is chirping ,as like a bird it is quiet a rare sound.the meaning of this sound is uncertain.some say it is stress,but its beautiful sound.ive heard it twice,all the other piggies in the herd stop and stare,when the chirping has finished,they all seem to go about there business as usual.two times ive heard it,it has been a teenager piggie,and at 2am in the morning.a lovely sound,like a blackbird singing.

Peanut did it twice in his first year, both times he was having floor time which he is not impressed with, being a timid piggy he prefers his cage. He is the only guinea I've heard do it.

Tilly had just had some food and had gone back in her bed when the noise started. I was like eh? I definately don't think she was stressed so not sure why she did it!

No-one seems to have a real explanation about why they do it, but it would be great to hear it. You're blessed.
