Hi everyone, I'm very worried about one of my guineas. I got 3 about a month ago (they look no more than a year old). They were all doing great for awhile, but the past few days one of them has been acting strange. He's usually very active, running around and popcorning, but now he just sits still in his pigloo for long periods of time. He tilts his head over to the side, and when he does run around he looks like he's drunk. He staggers and falls over. Could he have some neurological problem? Is this common in guineas? Any help appreciated

Sounds like an ear infection. Will need a vet and some antibiotics asap.

No sorry, but i can imagine if it is straight forward it wouldnt cost much atall.

Please, if you can. Update your profile and add your location. Not exact but where in u.k for example. Then we can point you to a decent vet. One of the very best for dentals is in Northampton. Thats where @furryfriends (TEAS) takes all of her rescue guinea pigs. And alot of them are cured from complicated dental issues. Yours sounds not too bad, just the teeth broke off. I dont know much about dentals, but seems as it really late.( most members are asleep) I just wanted to offer what advice i can give.
