Well these pictures definitely show how much our boys have grown.

We travel about once a month to visit my in laws which is up to a 4 hour drive from home. When we arrive they have the same size C&C that they have at home as they have my mother in law wrapped around their paws and they take over the living room. We have the odd squabble while travelling, always just vocal no fighting which calms down within seconds, think its just complaining about butts being in faces.

I have read the Travelling with Guinea Pigs thread here. but I'm concerned that I'm not providing them enough room, if we had a pair then I believe this would be ok but having a trio means more butts to get in faces. Our current Savic Carrier is 48.5 x 33 x 23.5cm, I've been looking online but there aren't many hard cases that offer more space than this, I have been looking at soft cases like below which are 60cm x H 44cm x D 42cm. I guess what I want to know is, are soft cases more dangerous than hard ones, would giving them that extra space be more dangerous if we were to have an accident?

We have a soft case for our two and it works well for us. We put a fleece blanket on the bottom and sometimes put a tunnel or hidey in with them as it is big enough. Ours aren't in there for long though as only use it for trips to the vet or when cleaning the cage.
