Timmy was a very shy little boar with humans but a dominant piggy with Freddie. Sadly his health had deteriorated over the last few months and the ailments of old age started to build up although he was only 4.5 years old. This morning we decided with the help of a lovely vet that it was unfair to keep him going any longer. We and Freddie will miss him so much, sleep tight darling Timmy.

BIG HUGS
I am so very sorry that you have had to make the most loving but also most heartbreaking decision for your stunning Timmy.

You have given him all the happiness, love and care by which piggies measure their own lives by. Timmy wouldn't know that he was ageing earlier than average but in his own mind, he has still lived a full life.

Be kind with yourself as you grieve; the sadness and all that comes with the severance of a loving bond are still there and cannot be cut short.

Premature ageing is one of these things you cannot control just with good care, but by putting his welfare before your own desires you have not failed Timmy in any way and spared him the sharp end of it.

My thoughts are with Freddie and you.

Such lovely pictures of your gorgeous boy.
So sorry that you had to give Timmy that last gift of love.
You filled his life with love and the very best care.
Holding you in my heart ♥️
