timothy hay

i just wanted to ask as i have read different things on the net - can young guinea pigs have timothy hay? they dont like that Alfa hay.

hi my piggies were fed timothy hay in the pet shop from birth and seem to love it, it is more expensive though

Mine adore it, cant get enough. Alfalfa isnt good for guineas really, except expectant/nursing mothers and minis. I also give mine oat hay and brome hay for variety

OK thanks - i have a few bags here but i didn't know whether it was OK to give it give the youner piggies, but i shall now try it with them.
