Timothy hay

Could anyone tell me if Timothy hay is better for my 2 new guinea pigs and why? One of them came with a URI.:^-

Hi there Timothy hay is coarser than the likes of meadow hay and is therefore better for their teeth, most importantly if your piggies have any breathing problems then definitely use dust extracted or dust free hay and feed it on the ground, you dont want the dust and particle getting into their lungs so feeding from a rack etc would allow the dust to fall on their faces and possibly get breathed in.
