Tinka and Belles first proper outside time

Well I got my outside play pen from ebay for £9 :(|) and its pretty big.
The only problem at the moment is that the babies are still small enough to be able to get through the bars (as I found out with Houdini Belle!)
So will have to rethink doing something to bottom row of bars. Possibly add another layer of wire through it or if anyone has an suggestions?

Excuse the bald pieces of lawn, we are still recovering from the heatwave!

Sorry they all look the same but I couldnt choose which ones to post. I am a very snap happy mummy and love my photos. This isnt even half what I took this afternoon ")

What a bargain buy! Looks like they're having a great time.

You could just make a cardboard or correx fence around the bottom of the run for now and attach it with cable ties. You only need something temporary as they grow so quickly. :)
 
Yeah I was thinking cardboard, something simple would be ok. Need some long boxes haha
 
i had 1 pig from somene who couldnt look after it no more to go with my other one, as his friend passed away, i put them in the run to introduce them, and he shot stright through the squares. i had to chase him round the lawn, so my dad put some mesh around all the sides
 
Fabulous bargain! You could get some cardboard free from Tesco or some other supermarket just until they grow a bit or even some pieces of corroplast from an estate agents. Someone (I think it was flips) said that they often give away old signs and it would have the advantage of being waterproof.

They are lovely photos. Very cute.
 
Bargain run price! They're such pretty little girls, i tihnk they're becoming some of my favorites to see on here.I love belle, her little lips are so cute.
 
Aww thanks guys. I have been wracking my brain to what Belle looks like and her face reminds me of a teddy bear, if you look in my avatar haha
 
You're right she does! She looks like one of those older style teddies that have that little red tear drop shapped piece of felt as a little tongue or lip.
 
What gorgeous girls! They are so sweet. Don't worry about the lawn, mine looks like that too!
 
Such cuties, a happy daughter and a proud mummy!

Perhaps you can get some chicken wire or plastic mesh, so your girls won't be in danger of getting their heads stick when they get older.
