Tiny Bugs In Hay,

Advice please, we bought some excel herbage last week and it seems to have lots of tiny little bugs in it, is this normal, and is it still ok to give to the piggies? Thanks
 
I would throw this away and get a refund. I get my hay from hayforpets. It is a lovely quality.

It looks amazing in the pack , only got a small pack as we are finding that by the time we get to the middle of packs of hay the lovely green hay has turned brown, and we have to throw away,! This was excel birch bark by Burgess so was expecting better!
 
I think herbage is meant to be a treat and not as their main hay.
