My little Tiny Ivy had her eye operation yesterday !
After two months of uncertainty we decided to have it done. She is small and feisty ! and now weighs 599g ! was 400g on arrival in May.Ivy is very petite and slightly disabled, she was a runt and was 1 on December 15th.She eats like a horse bless her and is well just dinky bless her,she has a head tilt and her back is slightly deformed but we all adore her.
She had a torn eyelid as a baby(she was an unwanted pet) and has had eye lash problems ever since.Anyway the willows in Tunstall,Stoke on Trent have seen Ivy and their opthalmic specialist vet Clive operated on her yesterday. The nurses loved her and said she woke up really well and was in an oxygen tent for 2 hours post op.She has to go back in 10 days for her stitch removal. To avoid Tabitha grooming her eye...as she does...Ivy is side by side through mesh with Tabitha and William her companions.
I was so happy yesterday when she recovered fine just the eye drops every two hours to deal with now ...lol mallethead

Oh that is good news. Poor baby. I know how you feel having to do so many eye drops. My poor Marble is still on eye drops and cannot stand them. She does her best to try to get away and it is very difficult. I hope little Ivy gets better soon.
