When I had Georgie out on me yesterday he did some poos and they were tiny compared to how big they used to be.He eats the same as he always has.Hes 5 years old and is fairly skinny but has been for a while now.Ive always put that down to the fact he's an old boy now.Just wondered if the size of his poos are a concern? They're smaller than the girls poos when they used to be big.Theyre a normal shape.

Hi! Switch from weighing weekly to weighing daily to monitor his hay intake and check his boar bits for signs of impaction or something stuck in the penis shaft.

Thanks, I will start doing that.If all seems ok would that mean the small poos are just a sign of getting older?

Older piggies have a slightly diminished food intake but firstly you will have to make sure that there is no medical reason for it. ;)

When Holly is brewing for anything her poos always drop in size. So I agree with Wiebke that it’s best to weigh daily and watch to see if he’s eating his hay.

Hoping little George is alright and was just having a off day x
