I have had lots with mites and only been able to see the dandruff and sores but I have now with white crawly beasties on the roots of her hair but no real sores. Any clues? Are they mites?

Yep, tiny maggoty looking running lice!
Lice n Easy, but make sure to repeat it after the stated time as the first time round gets the lice, then the eggs hatch and the second lot gets them.
Clean out the cage at the same time as you bath them.

I agree, lice are the ones you can see. They tend to start appearing from this time of year onwards.
I have lice at the moment...not me personally but my little boy. Ive got some spray for his coat and going to shampoo him tomorrow x
Running lice. Static lice look like small dots of black dirt in the fur; they are a lot less frequent.
