hi my piggie Blanche is around 13 weeks old. I've been given some oral liquid medication for her for suspected ring worm. The first two days were fine as she curiously nibbled the syringe so I was able to give her it relatively easy. The problem is now I'm guessing she's worked out what it is and won't entertain it at all. Has anyone got any tips on how I can give her it? She's on it for 10 days then they are going to take a sample of her fur to send off for testing.

My advice - be assertive ( not rough of course - but I'm sure guinea pigs pick up on when you are a bit nervous of over gentle ).

My Bess is on medication at the moment. I give her her medication immediately before meals . She makes a right fuss so, I just get on with it. I put her back in her hutch and put the food in the hutch straight away . Before you know it, she''s eating her meal as if nothing had happened .
