Unfortunately I've found myself in a situation with multiple pregnant pigs and I've been trying to weigh them daily.

The issue is, I'm too scared of hurting them to pick them up, and they've learnt to stop going into any small container that fits on my scales.

Any alternatives that won't injure them or get an unreliable weight? Thanks for the help :)

Could you try gently herding them into a corner then picking up? Or use a larger container then pick them up and put them on the scales. Can I ask why you’re weighing them daily? I don’t know much about pregnancy care but I don’t think they should be handled that often. But don’t quote me 😁

I'm not weighing them daily yet but a few people have told me to. I'll try that today :) before I had no issue in gently scooping them up but since they were attacked by a ferret last week they're very skittish 😔

I have pregnant piggies and weigh them once a week. I herd mine into a corner then pick them up via a container. hope this helps
