I havent been on the forum for a few days as I've been rushed off my feet with the rescue and other bits at home.
I was shocked to see how many new posts there had been in the Rainbow Bridge section, so please now accept my condolences to all who have lost little pigs or buns.
As Sophie said, with so many and rescues, you DO become fairly hardened to it, but its still a grim time to find one has suddenly passed.
Big hugs to you all, heres hoping all the critters are on the Rainbow Meadow keeping the grass in check xx

I feel the same, so many have lost recently and it upsets me so much, i dont read the threads anymore because i end up sobbing my heart out. just know i'm thinking of you all and send all my love to you all. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It's awful but I take comfort in the fact that it was sudden, just awful to find a much loved pig that has gone as you would like to comfort them as they cross over. We lost Elora in December like this and then there was little Zack a couple of weeks ago our foster boy.

(((hugs))) to all who have lost their beloved pets recently. x

The comfort I took from all your kind words about Tuppy and Lottie 6 weeks ago was tremendous. I hope everyone who posts in Rainbow Bridge finds the same comfort. Rest well, all you precious piggies who have so recently passed, and big hugs to the owners and companions they had to leave behind. xxxxx

I lost my beloved Aragon nearly 3 weeks ago (the white, brown & black boy busy scratching in my Avatar photo!) 8...

I am a childminder & the day it happened I was working. I had to try & keep going & be strong for the little one, hard as it was. Then I had an interview for a new child place later that day. I ended up bottling it all up & not grieving at all. Then I decided to adopt 2 boys (who as it happened have been featured on a thread here). Vicky who fosters said she would contact me via TGPF.

I've been a member for ages but not visited for a long time. After checking out my new babies (who are very handsome!) I found this section & decided to post a thread about my boy. It has turned out to be a wonderful & very tearful time when I visit here, but the messages given to me were comforting & so welcome xx>>>. I can only hope that the messages & love me & my remaining 3 boys send to other owners & piggies will help them too. It may be sad, but it is a wonderful section - as well as relieveing my non-piggy friends having to hear about how I feel & how wonderful my pig was for the umpteenth time! :red:))

But to those reading who haven't posted but have lost a little one recently, my heart goes out to you & your piggies. Me & my manly trio - Jerry, Pippin & Lehgolas - send our sympathies, hugs & squeaks to you all

Michele
