To buy or not buy?

Zubins so lonely.... AGAIN! grr >:( he was givin downstairs to free range but went and sat in griffys spot and didnt move just sat staring :'( he needs a friend but I'm such a jynx I'm worried if i get one he'll die like Rudi n Griff but i cant see him like that again it breaks my heart and also the only pet shop which will sell me a pig on its own is Pets At home even my sancuatry wont give me just one I'm so undecided my mums said i can get one on friday but i just dont want it to die :'( what do i do ?
 
Oh Verity, please don't think you're a jinx, you're not, Zubin is proof of that. I'm surprised the sanctuary won't give you a single one as he's going to a friend. Are there no breeders near you? or small pet stores?
 
there are three stores two sell them only in pairs and i spoke to the only sancutary for miles and they wont give me a single one they pair them up as soon as they arrive! i dont have much of a choice, it broke my heart seeing him like that :(
 
My mum is buying me or rather Zubin another one in the morning she saw him nad nearly cried spose the decidion isnt mine now lol x
 
Why not try a rescue near you? - It makes more sense as the guineas at the pet store could carry any diseases. I got 2 rabbits from pets at home and they both died in the 1st week I got them and killed one of my other rabbits too. At least Guineas at a rescue have got a little bit of a history on them
 
thats a nice idea however there is one and only one rescue for ages its the Stubbington ark it has 68 guineas needing homes all paired up they wont give me just one i did try that theres not much i can do now wish there was
