I run a rescue centre, and every boar thats leaves here, has his new owners shown how to clean the willy. Yes it's not the best job in the world, as you can get impacted sacs and smelly bits. But I feel IT MUST BE DONE.
The amount of times they are second or third time owners have have neaver been shown this or told about it, well! They brought from pet shops, no need to say any more. I've also had boars in for bonding and pairing and again had to tell the owner.
We have brought these animals into our lives. Therefore we have to give them 110% care. We owe it to them. Just imagine if you have a lump of saw dust, hay, food ect stuck in your bits. It would be very unpleasent.
As I'm new to the Forum it may have been covered before. Sorry if I'm banging on the same old drum. The internet dose not give you much information on it. But when did you last clean your boars willy? Sarah X
