To feed pellets with dry forage?

For those of you who feed dried forage,do you feed pellets along side the dried forage.I'm contemplating given dried forage one day without pellets.another day just pellets alone.just wondered what other members do.

I tend to give some dried forage most days but pellets only three times a week during summer.

My lot arent keen on dried forage, but I dont feed pellets on days when they get more concentrated nutrition as a handful of oats and some root veg or fruit hidden in their hay in the playpen- pellets are for boring lettuce and pepper days, if there is more exciting and varied stuff to forage for we don't bother with pellets
