To syringe feed or not to syringe feed... Clover is getting old and bony

Treats are special. . .
I've never given beansprouts . . I tho they need to be cooked. . I remember few years ago . .some old dears getting very ill eating uncooked . .
So piggies like them. . . :hmm:
Beansprouts do need a really good wash and if they smell funny or are a bit close to the use-by date I cook them for myself not risk the piggies! But if they are very fresh and white and well washed my piggies love a few as a treat, they are nice to post through the cage bars into those little piggy begging kissy lips nom nom nom :)

My lot all love them these days after your suggestion months ago! Even fussy Cleo scoffs them after turning her nose up at first! Sainsbury’s by me had no herbs yest either, piggies would’ve have rebelled so came home with a watermelon instead! :))
Glad gorgeous Clover’s ok bless her :love:x

If Clover loses any more weight I'm tempted to ask for a referral to a specialist seeing as Blodwen honks is being referred to a specialist anyway, seeing as they are best friends and Blod doesnt like to travel alone may as well remortgage the house/sell one of piggy daddy's kidneys and get my special girls sorted together!

Yeah sell the kidneys, definitely a good plan! :))

Have you considered a trip to the Cat & Rabbit clinic. I know that Simon has been able to diagnose problems that other vets have struggled with or even misdiagnosed.

That's true my vet is very good with piggies but she never diagnosed what was wrong with Meg. I knew there was something wrong so took her to C&R and Kim diagnosed what was wrong in 10 minutes.

Interesting how you offer up piggy daddy’s kidney and not yours 🤣

I hope she doesn’t lose any more weight 🤞🏾
