Not sure whether this should be in the health section or the food section...

I wanted to put the piggies in the run today and noticed that loads of toadstools have sprouted among the grass!
I am now reluctant to let them out as I am worried eating them might harm them; any advice on this?

I am also not sure how to remove them if they are dangerous; pulling them out by hand will take absolutely ages and I am likely to miss some of them as they are rather small and hide well among the grass.

Any advice appreciated!
 
I don't know other than some are really toxic and others are edible for humans. I wouldn't let mine near them, but maybe there is someone knows more about them. Hope so. Good luck. xx
 
I'm inclined to say the same as Jane, I'd avoid them at all costs. Could you pick some grass for your guineas and allow them a run around in a safe room indoors, instead?
 
Or if they're outdoor piggies, maybe put the run on concrete/patio if you can and pick grass for them? They probably wouldn't eat the toadstools, but you can't be sure.
 
In the past when we've only had a few on the lawn i've picked thm right at the base of the stalk and never had an issue. If theres too many to pick though i'd let them out indoors with picked grass or on a patio.
