My nephew is 16 months old and has never met my guinea pigs. My niece hadn't seen them in a while either as now Toby is at nursery I never pick her up from nursery on a Friday. So seeing as I was down near my parents for Buddys vet check up and my mum and dad were babysitting I thought I would go in and introduce them. Toby absolutely loved it, they do have a cat at home so he already understands to stroke gently and he was really well behaved. He fed Buddy some carrot and when I put him back in the carrier he kept running over to the settee to press his face against the mesh to see inside :))

Awww. How sweet. I have some lovely photos of my brothers with our piggies. It is good to teach them how to behave around animals early. So many children never learn.
