So I recorded Toby's biting, scratching for an hour and here are the results,
Total Number of Scratches: 20
Total Number of Bites: 34!
Most scratched area: Side (not most infected side with the sores) and ear
Most Bitten area: Foot
He is eating quite well but drinking quite alot could he be becoming dehydrated because of these little [insert nasty curseword in here]
P.S thanks to everyone who has been reading about Toby's current condition!

ok, so it is quite bad, but do not worry! there is a very gentle medicated shampoo, johnsons insecticidal shampoo, it kills and prevents mice, very mild, will not make it worse, only one i have seen. it retails at about £2.99. give him a good bath then groom him. hope this helps :)

This wont help mites snugglesbaby, only lice but I recommend Chrissies shampoos as they are much kinder to the skin www.gorgeousguineas.com

Ivermectin from vets for mites is the only treatment that works :)

Have you had Toby treated yet?

I would drop an email to Chrissy at Gorgeous Guineas and tell her what is wrong with Toby and see what she recommends.

Chrissy is brilliant, I've had a few products from her.

I might put that on once the ivermectin settles in. Good news his latest tally is
Total number of bites:12 mostly on foot
Total number of scratches: 10! (Near neck mostly where the treatment is but can't really get near it) and some ear scratching
So an improvement! ofc this will vary by the hour but still!
