Hi!
The other day I re-introduced myself and my 2 recent rescue piggies opal and olive.
Well yesterday I popped to a feed/pet shop and fell in love with a massive Rex guinea pig for sale who was all on her own and had been there 2 months! I raced home to tell the lady I live/volunteer with and to get her permission (I’m 27 but temporarily living in a cottage on there property lol!)
I have always had a massive soft spot for Rex piggies as 2 of my first pigs were Rex and very friendly and adorable! And this female just reminded me of my old, last piggy maisie! Plus I hadn’t come across a Rex since being in Australia.
Anyway I raced back this morning to buy her. I’m going to slowly introduce my 2 girls to her over the next week and fingers crossed they’ll get along, might be a sock to them as she’s almost the size of a wombat
I’ve named her Mary and I’m totally in love
