All 3 piggies were free ranging for a good hour or so, when I want them to go back in there cage... I sit in the corner and shout them(I have veggies). The girls always come immediately but Fred takes ages so today I decided to wait on him to come before giving the girls there treats. They weren't best pleased they were like wee dogs mooching. Anyways they gave up waiting both of them sprinted over to Fred (outside the cage) and started wheeking very loudly and all 3 piggies came running in, I wonder if they realised it was because of Fred they weren't getting there veg?!

Another great thing... me and Fred had a break though, he usually will come over to my hand to either sniff or get food.. but today he came over and let me pat him in his cage thats the first time ever!

It all sounds like fab progress Joanne, especially with Fred! So happy for you that he'll let you pat him in his cage, that really is a great step forward. :)

thats good news its lovely when a piggie starts to trust you x>>

clever little fred! it too me nearly a year before I could stroke george's head in the cage but once he let me all my pigs did I swear mine are such copy cats :))

You have two clever girls there Joanne :))

So pleased Fred is getting more and more confident :)

Very clever girls... I just wuv erm... I wish I could take the credit for it, but it's nothing to do with me... they have been like this since day 1, I suppose they know there names now... I'll take the credit for that :).

Pebbles is so funny, when shes being naughty and I shout her name she immediately turns rounds and wheeks very loudly... is it veggie time?!

I think I've had Fred roughly half a year now... I enjoy making progress with Fred, he's a challenge and a half but I think even he knows his name now... but still comes up terrified to get his veggies... I swear you can see it in his eyes not again!

I make all 3 come up and get veggies from my hand (twice a day, everyday)... the girls have no problems but Fred is so timid.. you can see his face saying "NO" She's going to eat me.

Way to go Fred. It can take time with some piggies for them to trust you and isnt it wonderful when you finally have a breakthrough.

Aaah they obviously were having fun! Cottonbud will go round up furby if she thinks that i am witholding food till furby comes too, she normally gets told off for her efforts bless her! Mine will come for food aslong as they are behind bars rolleyes
