Todays the day after a couple of nights next to the girls i will be introducing the new man.
Hope it goes well. I picked him up on monday from nevilles nest. (Posted a he's 20181017_093629.webpreserved for me thread).
 
They had a husboar who we lost not long ago. I bonded them. He thought he was the boss but no chance.

Roughly 3 hours later, so far so good. Their all laid down but he does keep trying his luck. Naughty boy 😁

Aw bless these little husboars with all their naughty romantic ideas, within a week Theo had gone from being a sex maniac to a wannabe herd leader to being completely ignored... then he settled down to getting fat and keeping everybody happy like many good husbands of all species learn to do :)
 
I bonded Ralph with my sows earlier this year. He was only about 5 months old at the time, and all my sows were much older (ranging from about 4 to 2 1/2). He was massively over exuberant at first. It took about a week for him to realise that the ladies would still be there every time he woke up after a nap and he could relax and stop offering them his boarly charms. They told him off at times, but it was actually quite funny to watch.

I think burnie will do this to dot, funny thing is on split floor time tho, its dot looking for him everytime. But in a cage it might be different. He chews on her ear through the next door cages

Yes Theo was the same, he patrolled the cage rumble strutting with his little willy out continually for 3 days and nights and escorted his favorite little wife Puggle everywhere and guarded her like she might disappear, until the ladies had a piggy conference and decided to teach him how to behave! I think he was quite relieved, poor little guy was so exhausted... now he's very chilled out and Puggle likes him much better (they are currently snuggled up having an afternoon playpen nap in a seagrass house :) )
 
Their cage has all been cleaned out and all 3 are back in it. Hes still trying it on but i can see that one girl is letting the other two get on with it (deciding whos boss!) Which i thought this would be the case. As shes too sweet to want to get involved ☺
I have no concerns that this wont work out!
