So I've experienced toddlers and I've experienced guinea pigs. And I have to ask - there's not much of a difference is there? Sandy and Penny were playing tug-of-war with a hay toy despite there being two of the exact same toy literally right next to them. And I caught myself saying, "You only want that one because she has it." Also, Penny has been in season the past few days and I can't begin to count how many times I've said, "Leave Sandy alone." I swear, it's like having a toddler in the house!

100% agree, I have had this thought more than once while watching their ridiculous antics 😆 My girls will play tug of war with a single piece of hay already in the other ones mouth, despite there being literally hundreds of other pieces of hay in the cage. I also cannot eat anything with any type of fresh fruit or vegetable without getting absolutely hounded by squeaks and bar biting because they feel they are being left out and should get a piece too. Don't even get me started about the petty drama 😂 With all that said, I absolutely love their antics and wouldn't change it for anything!

I did my first piggy photo shoot and it was like trying to take a picture of toddlers. Nobody stayed still except the one stuffing his face with snacks. Plus, everyone had to hide under the blanket and then someone peed on the floor. Or right before bedtime they get wound up and have to zoom around and make lots of noise.

My youngest child is 3 so I can agree there are similarities.

My pigs are certainly very similar to my second child when she was a toddler - always finding ways to get into things they shouldn’t be! Although, fortunately my daughter did not chew the rubber strip off my dustpan every time she saw it!

And when there's silence coming from where they're meant to be, you almost don't want to look to find out what's happened, because you know there's trouble. Who said silence was golden? Nobody that ever looked after guinea pigs and toddlers, that's for sure.

and here i thought only my pigs do that! once i let them free roam and forgot the dustpan was out..... by the time i realized what was happening i had a pretty useless dustpan! 🤦‍♀️

Nugget's gone through 3, as soon as I relax and forget not to put it down in the cage a chunk of the edge has gone!

I bought Percy and Pepper three lovely new fleece items last week. Anyone like to guess where they have chosen to sleep? In a free paper bag. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Basically they have discarded the toy to play with the box just like a toddler would.
