Toffee has left Peppa.

Just to let you all know that Toffee died today, after a short illness. She has left behind her 2 year old sister Peppa, who seems to be pining at the moment and I dont know what to do. Peppa wasnt even with her. I had to seperate them as Toffee had a bug that Peppa may have caught.

The best thing you can do is get Peppa a new friend as soon as possible-it will stop her pining and cheer her up considerably

Thanks for all of your replies.

I spoke to the local rescue today, and they will not rehome over Christmas and New Year but have suggested giving her a cuddly toy to snuggle up to, which I have.

They have a couple of single sows and we will be taking Peppa over there in the new year to see if she can be bonded with either of them.
