HI,
I have 2 gp, both males, one about 2 months and one about 3 months. They both live in seperate cages, but I was wondering if you would keep them together or apart or get a female for company for them. Please help with this, as I am new to keeping gp, and want to do the best for them. ? ? ?

You could try introducing them to each other slowly but this doesn't always work, if you were to get a female then the boy she is going with would need to be neutered unless you want lots and lots of little baby guinea pigs :o

No girllies until they have been neutered O0

I would try bonding them they are both young and hopefully it would work have a look at the barmy for boars web site and follow her instructions on bonding barmy for boars

Good luck O0

Oh it's an ideal age for bonding I have a crested aged 10 weeks and a rex aged 14 weeks and they have been together a couple of weeks. You shoulld have no problem bondong them.

Introduce in a neutral area, where they don't play, mounting, sniffing are all normal behaviour as well as rumbling. I'm sure they will get on.

Good luck!

Introduce them in the run first and then in the cage..do it slowly and dont rush it ^_^. And i'd get them nuetered if you dont want like 9 mini pigs ;D
