Can you someone just verify that piggys can eat tomato ..because i dont know if ive dreamt they cant - i cant remeber if they can or not 98)..think the school holidays have mingled my brain lol

I feed mine Cherry tomatoes and they love them. I don't give the seeds though.

Mine eat big tomatoes and baby tomatoes the whole thing!seeds as well,are they not allowed them??

I was sure if they where allowed them so I take them out, if someone could let us know that would be great. It would save me a tricky job!

Whole tomato is ok but feeding loads can give them wee sores like when you eat too many oranges, cause they are quite acidic. :P
 
Thanks for that Elle, I only give the cherries and I only give one per pig now and again. :)
 
Gilly loves his cherry tomatoes, eats the whole thing and ends up with seeds all over his face, LOL!

Mine love cherry tomotoes, seeds and all. I don't give them to often but ifmy dad buys them i cut them into halves for them :)
 
Our Sully (RIP) loooooved his cherry tomatoes, i think it's hilarous to see them after they've eaten them ::) red chins and seed spread everywhere ;D ;D ;D
 
Grissom loves tomatoes, however the others don't really care for them.
 
OOOOOO mine love them as long as they are de-seeded and chopped up other wise they wont touch um :)
 
I read somewhere that Guineas aren't allowed any type of seeds, but I've seen loads of GP's eating cherry tomatoes with seeds in them in the web. I suppose it could cause a knock on effect later in their lives ?I'm not sure, just a thought really.
 
Tried mine with cherry toms cut in half the other day. They were all left in the bowls when I went back. :)
 
Mine got crazy for cherry tomatoes, i only tried them with then a couple of weeks ago by accident, when i was giving then a salad i hadn't finished. Now i try and give them one each a day as they love them so much.
