Tomatoes

My newly acquired squeaker refuses to eat tomatoes! I am totally gobsmacked - having had in the past upwards of 70 piggies and every last one of them adoring tomatoes I am completely amazed that he just turns up his nose and wont eat any of it. He is the same with honeydew melon and again this is a first for me as all my previous piggy buddies have eaten every scrap of melon I've given them - including devouring the skin. I'm a bit more perplexed at this as I understand honeydew is quite high in Vit C. As he is only just about 7 weeks old I will persevere and try him again on both these from time to time.

Mine love tomotoes - they're one of the first to be eaten. Mine hate carrots though which I'm finding that quite strange. ?

Tomatoes can make there mouth sore if there given them often, But all mine LOVE them

Thanks to all for responding. I'll maybe try again in a few weeks as he is still a baby and maybe his taste will change in time. I wish he would eat them as I understand they are good for the digestive system and also quite good source of Vit C. (Also easy on the purse!)

Alex eats banana! How can he hate tomatoes but like banana?!
