I always thought that when you give piggies tomatoes, you should remove the seeds first but I saw a YouTube video of someone feeding them whole (plum tomatoes not the big ones!) and with the seeds in. So does it actually matter about removing the seeds?

NO !

I wouldn't have the patience to even if you were supposed too, i've been feeding my piggies tomatoes with seeds for years no problem !

:)) Ah ok! It does take ages to scoop out all of the seeds and it also seems to leave you with hardly any tomato left (or maybe that's just the way I cut it :)) ) Think I shall try them with a whole one soon! Thanks!

I think my Marmite pig would be angry without the seed bits they're his favourite ! He licks them up of the floor, however he does make one hell of a mess and needs a good chin scrub after !

My boys are the opposite! If you give them a cherry tomato with the seeds in then they run a mile. Take the seeds out and they can't get enough of them!

ah thanks for this - i too thought you had to remove seeds but it.s right that there's not a lot left once that's done. Having said that, neither stanley nor benson seemed fussed for them

Ive given my girls a tomato for the first time today to see if they like it.

My girls love cherry tomatoes seeds and all!

Bonnie has problems with them kind of making her lip stick though-she uses her paw to 'unstick' it again. :))

2 of my 4 like cherry tomatoes. Tia adores them, and will pick them out first in the food bowl and like Marmite will lick the seeds from the floor, Ruby will eat them but only if hand fed.

They are so messy, I can guarantee seeds getting everywhere: all up the walls and in the other girls hair.
