So we have this issue with Tomie (young pig we got in late June.) She's a sweet girl... but, when we carry her, she is apt to bite us on the hand to hurry us along. This only happens when she knows where she's going and wants to get there faster (basically if we're taking her back to the cage when she's ready after lap time or if we're taking her outside to eat the grass... she starts with the biting once the sliding door opens to signal that she's going out, so I get a sense it's her being excited and wanting us to just get her there faster.) She has never broken the skin, but it does hurt... any way to stop her from doing this besides carrying her back and forth in a blanket?

Can you carry her in a car carrier and cosy. My Ginger likes a nibble if she wants to go back in her cage, she’s so much better than she used to be but I still get the occasional nip if she thinks I’m not listening to her demands!

Just a quick update... we definitely appreciate the pointers, asserting our dominance seems to be working and we have had less nippiness the past few days. Tomie is just a feisty one, I think! LOL!
