My babies are growing theirs wings and flying the nest :( 8...

I wish I could have kept them all but being realistic I cannot provide for all of their requirements, I have noticed its much harder now they are all grown up and running in every direction possible, eating me out of house and home & costing a lot in vets bills.

The house will not be the same without baby squeaks:(
 
I kind of (ish) know how you feel. One of my first 2 piggys was pregnant when I got her (Jan 2010). One day she had 3 babies ... I didnt even know she was pregnant until suspecting 2 days before she gave birth rolleyes
I was lucky that she had 3 girls and she and her friend and her 3 daughters just needed a bigger cage. I was really worried there was a male or 3 in there that I would have to give up.... luck was on my side for a change but I can really sympathise with you - sometimes you've just got to do whats right for you and them -its more important they get the right homes that they can be fussed over however much you love them - sometimes its a case of loving them more to let them go,

I know some of the people they are going to very well, others I don't know so well so I have done homechecks and if anything was to ever go wrong the pigs come straight back to me. I am also lucky enough to have them all over when their owners go on holiday.

It doesn't make it any easier though :( It has to be my luck to pick up 4 pigs and within 10 weeks end up with 14rolleyes
 
I know how hard it is; it had to rehome my two surprise babies who were sadly born at the most inconvenient of times and it became just too difficult to hang onto them. It was heartbreaking to let them go.

Make sure that you have somebody take a good bye picture of you cuddling them before they leave!
 
My little babies have left 8...

Pandora & Lexi went to a lovely older couple and I bonded her with their 4 year old guinea pig Trixie.

When I went to leave the woman took me to one side and handed over £40 to cover their vet checks and to give me a little money for dropping them off and bonding them, I didn't want any money in the first place! :x

Their coming her for holidays amd I can go and visit any time I wish shes also going to be giving me updates and progress checks :)

That's really lovely that's you'll still see them from time to time they sound like they're going to a good home too, thats the best possible outcome when you can't keep them all :)
