It was very funny... but i did have a horrible thought for a second.

Maybe ask the greengrocers or the supermarket for some decent (not the disgusting bits they throw out and i was offered, had to turn up my nose and say my girls don't eat nothing i wouldn't!) lettuce leaves that they often trim off? Get friendly with your local supermarket and they might let you pick the broccoli leaves off and even strip a few corn husks........ ?
