Is it possible for pigs to eat too much hay? Or is it a case or 'the more, the better'?
Its just I'm filling Nala & Kiara's cage up everyday with loads of hay, by the next morning its nearly all gone! They're eating a lot more than Simba does!

A constant supply of hay is fine, some probably eat more than others. They wont over eat.

hay is their main diet so they are doing whats expected of them can you imagine how much my 14 girls get through each day? they are like little lawn mowers snaffling through it every day

As far as I know they can't eat to much. Hay is a good source of fibre and it helps keep the teeth worn down by chewing on it. Mine has a hanging hay ball and this gets filled up twice a day and he also gets a bowl of Just Grass both of which ae empty each morning.

The more the better. :) It means they aren't filling up on lots of dried food rather than the hay, which is really good for them.

hay is brilliant for them AND helps their little toothy pegs :smitten:
