Too much poop?

Well in an attempt to get the new boys more used to me I laid an old towel on my bed and put the pigs on it and sat down with them. And within 5 minutes Fizgig pooped 7 times and peed on me once! And I had Jinx out for nearly 15 minutes and he didn't do either. I'm wondering if Fizgig is trying to tell me something? Or he just doesn't like me? How long has it taken other people to get more frightened guinea pigs used to them? I'm worried I'm doing something wrong.

Some guinea pigs just like to poop :p It can take them a while to get used to their environment. Sounds like you are doing the right thing to get them used to you. Keep that up. My boy guinea pig has been nicknamed "Poopy Pete"! There is nothing to worry about!

Haha I have two not so lovely ladies and one gentleman! Peter hardly ever poops on me but will go crazy when he's back in the cage whereas the girls don't discriminate about where they are they just go all the time

I wouldn't worry. This could be a number of things and, in my experience, there's no such thing as too much poop. As long as the poop is a good solid consistency and looks a little like a brown cashew nut, you're safe.

The volume of poop and pee could be caused by nervousness, bad timing (he really needed to go...) etc. It takes piggies a while to become discerning with where they poop and pee and really, you can never get them to poop in one place totally. Pee maybe but poop, they just go when they need to go
