Just thought it was a bit funny how there's always mention of thins being too stringy or a choking hazard. Surely hay is pretty stringy how come that aint such a choking hazard?

You have to much time to think ;D ;D

Hay isn't stringy anyway plus they eat it from the day there born so must be very use to it. Have never heard about things being to sting for them tho ? Like what?

I think the problems with veggies (like celery) is that sometimes they get a bit exited and try and eat it too quickly without chewing it properly. They have access to hay all of the time so they don't gobble that down as quickly. Mine make these choking noise all the time when I feed them their veggies :)

I chop their celery into little chunks. Sometimes when I'chopping it i'll get littlestringy bits. I tried pulling one off and chewing it myself once, it was like trying to chew a nylon fishing line (like I do that often lol) :D

I didnt know celery was a choking hazard?! mine have never choked on it :) ive only ever heard of things like seeds and nuts being choking hazards.
