Junior Guinea Pig
We originally intended to keep our pigs outside but after we moved them in for winter, weve got abit too attached and dont really want to put them back outside. We got more interaction with them if they are indoors.
The only problem is my other half says it can sometimes get quite hot in our room because its the attic room. We have a big roof window, which we can open, and a blind on it which we can keep shut to block the sun.
Whats the highest temparature piggies can be comfortable in?
Ive heard of freezing water bottles and wrapping them in towel so they can lie against them to keep cool, are there any other tricks?
It rains alot here even during summer which is another reason I dont wanna put them back outside.
If they did stay in, they would get at least 2-3 hours in their run each day, probably late afternoon to evening when its cooler too.
