i work in a childrens nursery, and today is my day off, so i decided to take these two lovely boys into work to show the children, and talk to them about how to touch and care for them, on a simple scale, the children are only three and four.It went very well, they were model boys, being stroked and petted, some of the parents had a look too, and i hope i helped by explaining that although they make a good childs pet, they need careful handling and lots of care and do live a considerable long time, so to bear that in mind- i said they were rescues, and how many there are in the same situation, so i hope i have done some good today! well done marble and romeo for being so calm, although marble did wee on me!

Aww. Kids do love guinea pigs. My house turns into a neighbourhood petting zoo sometimes :)) I'll have to start charging!
 
yes they did love them, and its strange because the ones i thought would be really interested were not so bothered and the ones i thought would nt be were!
 
aww, your boys have been to work and earned their veggies tonight :) x
