got home today and he had a scab (not open or sore looking) on his nose and bottom lip there were not there last night for deffo so we rushed him in...

got to bath him in special fungal shampoo and apply to affected areas this solution...he seems happy still and is having a sleep now..

does ringworm hurt him?

his symptoms were a flaky and pinky looking back foot, then last night a tiny little scab on ear ear at the edge and when the vet broke it off it bled but he was ok. then today we got in and he had a scab on bottom lip and top lip by nose (look like cold sores but not as painful) she thinks its ringworm so he had a test and results in 12 days but to me it just looks fungal from sites i have been on...cost me 70 quid all in all for her time, shampoo, ointment and this test

Fungal shouldn't be painful but Naboo may be a little uncomfortable if he is itchy. It sounds like you have caught it in the early stages. I *think* only when it is left to spread and get bad it can become very sore and painful xx

yeah she said it has been caught early just by the fact that he didnt have a sore on his lip yesterday night but this morning he has....she reckons even though he is 12 weeks now it is from the pet shop he was in and that it has just been carried in his system. He doesnt look in pain and is being good by not trying to lick his ointment on...bath tomorrow night...joy lol

Sorry to hear the vet thinks it's ringworm. Treatment for ringworm and other fungal infections tends to be the same, as I understand it, it mainly varies depending on severity.

Which shampoo did you get?
