I'm always trying to find new things for my piggys to play with. I've done toilet rolls hanging with hay and veggies stuffed in the middle, pushed a carrot into a wooden log for them to chew at. Someone bought me a trixie ball and one of those wooden blocks with string in the middle for them aswell which they don't seem to use. I always have lots of hay in their aswell for them to run around in but can you suggest what else I can o to enhance their life. They have hideous nd a tunnel aswell.

guineas can respond to mirrors but if you have dominant piggy's it might encourage them to get a bit rowdy :P My guineas love piles of things to get inside, sometimes I just give them a big folded up sheet of towelling and they jump right in! Then wee al over it and ignore it :P I had a weird thing from p@h which was coconut shells on a rope.. I hung it up like little bowls and filled them with mixed herbs. They would stretch right up for the top shell!

My piggies love brown paper bags stuffed with hay - they toss it around the cage wildly! Even just the smallest little things that you can make yourself, I find they enjoy most. Mine also like cardboard tubes stuffed with hay, big run-through tubes and veg 'kebabs'. The only other toy they've ever taken much interest in was a weird corn on the cob and carrot chew from Wilkos. It's not the ones you put in the microwave but they're just like a papery type chew. I think they were these ones - http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/guinea-pig-food+hutches/wilko-carrot+corn-for-small-animals/invt/0303669

I have tried a pile of fleece but as they have never had fleece and were out door piggys when I rescued them they just don't seem that interested. Maybe I will try to use other boxes and bags with veggies and hay in to see whether they like it. I have seen some coconut shells and wondered really what to do with them but hiding things in them would be good. Ours love parsley and coriander so might give that a whirl.

Mine always enjoy a good card board box! Also, they all love it when I change their cage around after i've cleaned it out, even though there's the same stuff it's like it's all new as they run around exploring :))

Oh maybe I should change it around as I normally just put it all back the same way! I'm really no fun as a mummy piggy!

i have little plastic stools that i have like a fleece fly screen all the way round, and the piggles love them

Actually your right as today when they were out they seemed to find me kneeling down in front of them quite amusing and they both lifted their little piggy faces right up to me and we nearly touched noses. They were quite intrigued by me sitting down on the floor with them. They do love to do laps of their run though, this is what they seemed to love the most. I like the outdoor of the fleece doors around a stool aswell. I think I remember seeing Margaret had bought a fleece door maybe ill invest in one of those.
