I have recently built a permanent run onto our pigs' hutch, which means the hutch stays open with a ramp from the hutch down into the run...and they still haven't figured out how to use the ramp! I've tried enticing them up by leaving greens at the top of the ramp but no joy :-\
Is there a suitable width ramp recommended, this one might be to narrow, although I don't think so.
Another thing: I'm concerned that they don't drink enough water. They have an upside-down rabbit feed bottle...but I haven't seen them drink from it. I have also put a shallow dish in now...but they don't show much interest in that either. Do they not drink that much?
Yes, we are newbies, and all your advice is great.
PS. We actually bought the pigs for my son, and they are so cute we adults have also been turned
